1962 Ashley Sportiva

This is the only photo of this Ashley Sportiva but I do know that it
had a Sportiva Mk2 body and the photo was taken in
Leigh-on-Sea, Essex in the 1960's.
I have not found any Current DLVA Registration Information so must assume it is know longer registered or re-registered under another number, but as I've said before, it might be in someone's backyard or old barn, but more likely scrapped.
Looking up the registration history NEF 6 was first registered in between October 1962 & May 1963 at West Hartlepool C.B.C.
about 300 miles from Leigh-on-Sea, so it would have been
recently completed at the time.
I was sent this photo and details by Graham C. Arnold in
November 2021 after he had been looking through some old photo's
he had taken during the 1960's.
He had not been able to find it listed on this website and thought

Graham replied to my questions saying,
"I have attached the only photo I have of it. It wasn't one of my best photos unfortunately but I think the car is clear enough for any
further identification.
One characteristic point perhaps of this particular car as you will see is the centrally-mounted spotlight in the grille aperture."
I had also asked if he remembered the colour of the Sportiva,
"No unfortunately I have no idea what colour it was.
I was in the horrible habit of never writing down the dates I took all my photos nor things like colours or places where they were taken."

In order to try and jog Graham's memory I
coloured his photo of the Sportiva in the colour's that they were
produced in and attached the 3 pictures to my email.
Ashley Laminates also made them in white (or Ivory) but his photo
was too dark for it to be that colour.
