1961 Ashley Sportiva
Registration No. 3647 RO

I have no photo's of this Ashley Sportiva but I do know that it had a Blue body in 1968 and would have looked a bit like the photo above.
I have not found any Current DLVA Registration Information so must assume it is know longer registered, as I've said before, it might be in someone's backyard or old barn, but more likely scrapped.
This car was seen by Trevor Pyman,
(a very keen cyclist, car enthusiast and contributor to
these Ashley websites),
back on 30th July 1968, when he was around Chelmsford, Essex.
The Sportiva was first seen by Trevor parked in a Chelmsford car park and seen on a few occasions after this right up to the summer of 1970.
Later sightings seemed to centre around the Southminster area of Essex suggesting it might have been owned by someone in that area.
He was however unable to find any information on the builder,
owner or registration holder.
But the car was originally registered in
in Hertfordshire at the Hertford C.C.
between February and August 1961.

I replied that it was good to see an actual photo of the
Sportiva - 3647 RO and I will be add it to my webpage, if I may and credit you with finding it and looking me up.
In fact I'm interested to know how you located my site when trying to identify an AC Greyhound, with the registration number 3647 RO, was it by the Rego No. only?
Nik replied saying that he did a Google image search,
just using “3647 ro” and this came up;
So my thanks to Nik for seeing the cars photo and tracing it back
to me and making contact.
