This Ashley Sportiva photo is the first that I found of this 1962 registered car, it was taken on 18th May 2006.
Unfortunately the registration number is not clear and so I filed it away in my file for future use.
The next time I saw this Ashley was on a 2009 photo of the car taken at a west country car club run, its pictured outside what looks like an old railway station.

Again the registration number is not shown, so into my file again until the next time it appears on the internet.
Eventually it does and this time with other Ashley's and also a picture of the front of the car showing the registration plate.

This time I believe it is at the Historic Specials Day at Burford in the Cotswolds in August 2011.

These next 2 photo's are taken a year later also at the Historic Specials Day at Burford in the Cotswolds in August 2012.
The owner seems to have all the luck as he picks the sunny days to attend the car shows.

An interesting point to note is that the rear of the car body, around the wheel wings has been widened (about 3" on each side) to take a wider rear axle set-up or wider wheels fitted maybe.
If you know why please let me know too.
It also has a 1500cc engine by the registration data, that would make it quite a mover on the open road I would guess.
