1962 Ashley Sportiva

I have no photo's of this Ashley Sportiva but I do know that it had a Green body in 1969 and would have looked a bit like the photo above.
I have not found any Current DLVA Registration Information so must assume it is know longer registered, as I've said before, it might be in someone's backyard or old barn, but more likely scrapped.
This car was seen by Trevor Pyman,
(a very keen cyclist, car enthusiast and contributor to
these Ashley websites),
back on 6th August 1969, when cycling around Brandon in Suffolk,
he noticed it parked at the side of the road, the A 1065, on the outskirts of the town.
He also found that it was originally registered on the
27th September 1962
by Ronald Bird of Chelmsford, Essex,
and
that it was registered as an "Ashley" complete with an
Ashley Mk VI Chassis No. 2291,
I also assume that Ronald Bird was the builder of the Ashley.
